which came out in 1957. They were actually Paul Weston and Jo Stafford, who were well-known at the time, Weston as a conductor and arranger and Stafford as a singer. The album was hilarious - it consisted of songs like "Autumn in New York" and "It's Magic," sung horribly off-key accompanied by terrible piano playing. When my parents had people over for dinner or a party they'd put that record on without saying anything, and wait to see if anyone noticed.
