It's slideshow night!
Trying something a little different. This is a slide show using a setting of a Drive-in. Saw one done a number of years ago and thought I'd try it, too. The show is about 5 minutes and each image lasts about 7 seconds.
I've posted the regular images from the show below in case some are hard to see as I'm pretty sure they would be difficult on a phone.
Again, it's kind of interesting. Slide images, no sound, theater background..

(37,659 posts)Mr. Diamond was the youngest one in his household and his uncle would often send him up to the attic to turn the antenna so they could try and get Browns home games on the Tee vee because the home games were blacked out in Youngstown. Shouting back and forth
Now? Turn it the other way! How about now? Little More! Stop! Ah you went too far, turn it back!

(25,585 posts)I still have my baton that I keep under my bed as a weapon. Loved Drive Ins. Getting film developed, silly putty copying, the PE uniforms( mine was blue) carrying books in my arms ( now backpacks then) typing class and having to write lines to not do ( as a substitute teacher I think it would be a good thing for kids to do it nowadays, they practice writing and what they did wrong sticks in their heads)
I had this large plastic board with skate bottoms that you laid one and it had a steering wheel. It was fun but so dangerous and my neighborhood kids wanted to use it and one got a pretty bad scraped leg and my Dad got rid of it! But it was so much fun!
And in my senior move job I recently came across one of those old console TVs pictured. The hauler took it to his warehouse where he collects old memorabilia. He said someday hes going to start a museum.
