Why the he'll are we shooting the messenger? Tone policing?

“It is this fear that the people within the party, within the primary system, will have about voting for a woman because every time we voted for a woman, we’ve lost,” she said in the Instagram clip. “So far. And I think that that’s a natural fear because we just want to win.”

“So there’s a lot of people that are like, ‘You know what? Let’s go find the safest white boy we can find,’” Crockett continued. “I mean, I’m just saying.”

Remember how people said 2016 was *rigged* for HRC?
Whined about a primary that was impossible to have not happening?

“No, for real,” Crockett agreed before claiming this is already in motion. “And to be clear, when we talk about them, I can tell you that there is one specific candidate. I had a donor on the phones with me telling me that all the donors are lining up behind that candidate.”

“So I can tell you — and I tell you — it’s not a black person nor a woman, ok?” she continued. “So they, quote unquote ‘they,’ have chosen, and when I say ‘they,’ it’s the same donors that most likely had their opinions about [former President] Joe Biden.”

She told the truth - people get offended.

Or maybe folks could have that same anger about primaries being rigged when its for a white guy?

BTW - its not going to be Bernie . I'd bet anyone $100 right now.

I wanted to vote for Barbara Jordon or Shirley Chisholm. I did write in Barbara Jordon in the primary of '76. Jimmy Carter was a good consolation prize.

When we move off the plantation and speak our truth, it becomes not all —- people, she’s a dumbass, reverse discrimination also we need to stop talking about identity politics even though it’s the republicans who wallow in them. We have been walking a tightrope for 300 years, I don’t see that changing.

13. I wish we could get off not only the identity politics,

but also all the cultural and social madness. Unfortunately, we're outnumbered by people steep in these forms of politics for their own reasons, and for some, those go deep. It used to be a national tragedy would have us setting aside petty politics and pull together for a common good. Today, that common good has been ripped from us and relabeled "woke" by the magas. We could, realistically, be victim to another 911 type attack and, instead of everyone pulling together, people would go bonkers blaming and "reporting" on their neighbors. Until this mindset has an ethical update, I don't see a hell of a lot of hope for us.

She's a good loyal Democratic Party member. And she's probably on calls asking for donations for her campaign.

Urban Radio was the home of the late great Black Eagle: Joe Madison. It is a Black American Biosphere. It is an informed group of listeners and callers.

I was listening to that in real time. It doesn't matter the show - its the same caller saying the same thing. we know it has to be a white guy. She's reassuring Black folks that we are being heard.

When Black women say (the core party ride or die base) it must be a white guy: Listen to us.

We are telling a truth to America that Liberals and Progressives who are NOT Black Can learn what is needed for the safety and security of our children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, etc etc.

We need reassurance. She met us where we are at.

What's the problem with that? Why does David Hogg get to say meet young white men where they are at in language they can "hear" - but she doesn't get to do the same thing for Black women?

The days of tone policing us and discussions about Respectability are OVER. Do not tone police any Black woman politician in America ever again. We saw what white folks permitted and allowed in November. All she did was hold up a mirror to America.
