More 21st Century Movers and Shakers

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/02/01/23-black-leaders-who-are-shaping-history-today.html

Admittedly, this article is 2 years old.

When I made the Jeopardy Boards, I thought about the people who are now in their 20's, who grew up with a black president, who lived completely different lives than mine. And I realized that I am very much stuck in the 20th century. My boards reflect that. Afro-Bougie Blues reflect that. A young person said that it was dated. *I* am dated. I'm 59. I am no spring chicken.

At any rate, I worked very hard to make 20 percent of the board represent the 21st century, that we are 20+ years into. I included President Obama, VP Harris, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Beyonce, Amanda Gorman, Mellody Hobson, Stacey Abrams, Rihanna, John Legend, Serena Williams, Jay-Z, Simone Biles. (I should have mentioned Katanji Jackson and Raphael Warnock... next year).

I am determined to join this century. And that's why I am hunting up articles like this one. 21st century game changers.

If you can think of someone else I should know about, let me know.

And remind any critics they can make their own board, even if they swipe a few from yours. We have to remain positive and keep moving forward.
