Ten years have passed

and it was time for another colonoscopy.

I remembered some years back in a discussion here a DUer mentioned using Vaseline. It was a life saver. Really.

Either the different prep, or my older body or a combination of both sent me to use adult diapers throughout the day.

Some months ago I purchased a package to have and they were needed. Yes, plurals. And extra rolls of toilet papers.

Results are OK. Only 20 min procedure after I was miserable for a day and a half.

Some Diverticulosis that, I understand happen as we age.

Until next time. If I am still around.

So I’m supposed to get it every five years. I got that diverticulosis thing. They never told me if I should do anything about it

I've had 2 so far and they found and removed polyps both times. Everything was benign both times, but that puts me in a higher risk category, at least in theory. More frequent checks are fine by me. I love the idea that they can find and remove the polyps before they even have a chance to turn into cancer!

Prevent it from turning into diverticulitis.
