There is not much that can make me feel like I'm past my expiration date,

but today after getting a nice haircut at a salon I declared, "I look like Gloria Steinem!" Nobody in the place knew who that was. 😳

We have two rabbits in the shelter who are currently housed in the conference room. Last week I went in for a meeting of the animal care team and on seeing them for the first time, I looked at the black one and said, "Oh, it's the Black Rabbit of Fu-Inlê!" Blank looks all around the room.

Had to Google, and I see it's a Watership Down reference. I never read that book, for some reason. Oh wait, I see it was published in 1972. I was in college at the time, going to school full time and working part time, and I just didn't have much time for recreational reading during those years. Maybe I will take a look at it one of these days.
