We have a baby goat! It is now 5 days old and appears it is going to live. The barn is heated and it

is very near the heater so the weather is not going to hurt it unless we lose power.

2. Awwww is it all by itself?

I would bring in inside if it is going to be really cold. At 5 days you could probably contain it pretty easily in a large box but it needs company. I slept in the winter in the barn with my baby when it's brother died. 2 weeks in the cold, they do not like to be alone.

I love my goats with a passion, they are one of the most wonderful creatures I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

5. She has her mommy in the pen with her but the other three goats have the rest of the barn to play in

I did not know you had the mom and that is what you meant! Whew! Congratulations! Baby goats are just the best things of all!

7. The whole family is thrilled with her. I hope she can survive them all. I have 11 great

grandchildren and they all want to visit her.
