"Trump to TRY to fire Powell, although doing so may be illegal" is the headline.

I changed my original headline, as it was deceptive. It was a condensed humorous remark by Ken White. It read:

"The Supreme Court is poised to issue an order stopping any lower court from interfering with illegally firing Powell."

The revised headline gives John Pfaff’s thoughts. Thanks to those who replied for pointing that out.

Powell himself has said that firing him is illegal and that he will fight back.

"Trump to TRY to fire Powell, although doing so may be illegal" is the headline.

Not "Trump to fire Powell in days ahead."

It's so hard to tell these days. In less corrupt times, this would all seem ridiculous. But here we are. Fuck.
