Theres a really good reason that most local and state police have stayed far far far away from immigration enforcement. Its wildly corrosive to ordinary public relations and, thus, dangerous for police and communities alike.

Houston police are now arresting people with "ICE warrants," which now appear when they run checks at traffic stops. Here, a man was stopped for a cracked windshield, police ran his ID, the warrant popped up, and then they arrested him. He's now in ICE detention.
