I see people say it's unrealistic - such as re: the 2nd amendment - to change the Constitution via amendment.

The 26th:
Proposed by Congress on March 23, 1971
75% of the states ratified by July 1, 1971
Signed into law July 4, 1971

103 days from proposal to becoming part of the Constitution. Not impossible, not too time consuming, if the support is there.
