For Merlin, every day is Caturday
He is completely spoiled by yours truly.
Today he's being a total snuggle bug. No gnawing on my fingers or attempting to climb up my face, but lots of time dozing over my heart. He did wake me up at 3:30, this morning, because he wanted to play. Maybe this is his way of making amends. He's also discovered the comfort offered by the floor heat registers.
I got a really good buy on some Applaws squeeze treats and he goes CRAZY for those. He is also now in the Churu treat gang but he has zero patience for having to share with others. He seems to be getting bored with his wet food so I might try squeezing some of the Applaws or Churu in to his pate. He's also FINALLY eating kibble and drinks from the big kid cat's water container. That's good because, for some reason, Arthur has started washing his paws in Merlin's water bowl.
Merlin will be in his element on Christmas Eve. My family will be here and the more humans in the house, the more attention for Merlin. The boy is absolutely fearless. (Well, except for vacuum cleaners. He's not so fond of the noise they make). Gryff is the same way when people visit. He wants to get to know everyone because they are potential sources for scritches. Madoc and Arthur usually observe from a distance. Carys just hides.
Best news is, I didn't get a call from the vet so that means his feline leukemia test was negative.
