Oberon and Ophelia (Bee & Fifi) Checking In!
They are getting along famously and I am thrilled.
Bee has picked up a bit of a sassy attitude, which is good for him. He's more confident and has really taken to gentle rasslin' and rampaging around the house with his little sister. He happily shares all his toys and food dishes with her. He does enjoy calm time by himself in the downstairs bedroom. I noticed him napping on the bed down there when I took laundry down the other day. Don't think she's figured out where he disappears to, not yet.
Fifi is still so sweet! Ornery, but sweet. She loves getting in bed with me. Maybe too much. Her new thing is waking me up every two hours by licking my face with her tiny, scratchy little tongue, or flopping around on me like a fish out of water, or kneading on my neck and face. When I say her name she responds with a chirpy greeting. She still eats like a bottomless pit but hasn't gotten bigger. I think she's just going to be a petite little 6lb. lady. Having kittens so very young may have stunted her growth? She so vibrant and happy, a joy to have around.
Their current favorite game is Bee hiding in the the tub, or in between the shower curtain and the liner, and then jumping out at her. Then off they gallop. It's particularly fun when I'm sitting on the toilet.
