Such a morning!

Merlin woke up at 4am for a feeding. No problem. We got that done and I checked to see if he had any poo or pee ready to get rid of. Pee, yes. We got settled in and I suddenly sensed a 'familiar' odor. Poo!! On my pajamas, on the towel, on the floor, on the chair where I fed him, and on his legs. Mind you, I didn't discover all of the 'deposits' at the same time. I just kept smelling the poo and then had to go look for it.

He's on a slurry, now, but my friend made a slightly milkier slurry than I do so his once pretty solid poos were a little less so. Not bad, just softer.

Since I had to change out of my pajamas, anyway, I went ahead and got dressed. THEN he wanted to play! I guess shedding that extra bulk triggered his energy. I headed out to buy some puppy training pads and hope to get him using the litter box SOON.

Now he's sleeping and I'm EXHAUSTED. My friends are on a day trip so at least I have the place to myself and the kidcats. I'm going to do a little cleaning and try to take a nap to recharge my battery.

There also a product called Pooph that guarantees removal/obliteration of pet odors.

There's nothing like kitten poo in your hair in the morning. Chuckle chuckle😄

Siwsan, you probably know this, but using clumping litter for tiny kittens is a very real problem.

The kitten gets into their water and then gets into the clumping litter. The kitten is then encased in a slimy concrete. This calls for a complete bath. Old school clay litter does not do this. Also, clumping litter is not good for the intestines if they eat it.

Again, I know you know this, but there may be someone out there that reads this that doesn't.

Thank you for your kitten service. 😍
