(96,874 posts)He's fortunate that you found him and took him in. He looks like he's doing okay, will be good to get confirmation from a vet, though. I know you plan to have him seen soon.
He's really a baby baby.

(27,543 posts)He was seen by a vet tech, AND by the vet. He is so tiny. that it was hard to take his temp, either through his ear or his butt, because the temp readers are just too big.
They agreed that, despite being so small, he's at the 3 week mark. His teeth are coming in, he's starting to self groom and quite often he pees and poops without assistance. Now I'm trying to introduce him to the litter box. Well, actually a makeshift one, using the top of a shoe box.
Barring anything with his health coming up, we'll go back in a couple of months. He will be big enough to start vaccinations and get neutered. I'll just stay hyper vigilant.
That's good news for now. Hopefully he'll grow into a big, beautiful panther.
Hard to imagine looking at him now but I see a panther in the making. Personality should be revealing itself in coming days.

(27,701 posts)Turns out that he's part Siamese and they stay blue? I know it wouldn't be deep blue like now and he couldn't get more handsome but I think it would be nice.
Thanks so much for sharing with us. ❤️

...extra captivating, for me anyway, about blue-eyed cats. I keep falling short of finding a good way to explain it. The closest I can come is that it rather feels like there is a fellow human being in there looking out at you.
That probably sounds weird.

(27,701 posts)Some mix of Siamese or maybe full, idk. She was a gift from some of my former students. They got her from the donation cage that existed outside the animal shelter.
They had a cage/crate set up in a place outside in a shelter and if they were closed anyone could leave cats in it. Well these guys took a kitten and brought it to me for my birthday.
She was a fantastic cat and lovely. I swear she could understand human language and thought that I understood cat. She had some really interesting quirks. She would meow with such a cadence that I swear she was taking to me.
She was so tiny when they brought her to me she couldn't really meow. So, I named her Mia. Get it?Anyway...We loved each other for 15 delightful years.
My very first pet was a cat I had when I was eight. Her name was Diamonds. She was killed by a car. I named her Diamonds because she had long hair and beautiful light gray eyes that sparkled like diamonds. That death broke my heart.
I miss having a cat. Maybe I'll have another one some day.
Thank you for your reply, 3catwoman3.

You're the one on the left. ❤️

(27,543 posts)Bruiser was a BIG and burly old Siamese tom cat, hence the name. He disappeared about a year ago.

mix. The sister is an extremely dark seal point, and her brother is a blue point. They have very subtle stripes.
Their mother is a tortie, with no stripes.
