Cece is spending a lot of time under the bed now, and eating very little. Not even tuna and treats are tempting her much. But she is still getting some catio time in We have made a tentative appointment for this coming Thursday for in-home euthanasia. Will be using money from a gofundme for that and the cremation. In the meantime, just grateful for some nice late-summer weather in Seattle.

(5,534 posts)and I send you all the hugs I have to give. Enjoy every minute with her now... and know you're doing what's best for her. I wish I had seen what was coming for my Sweetie. I'd have given anything to have been able to spend more time with him before the end, instead of pushing every medical treatment to try to keep him alive. Live with no regrets, and only joyous memories, BW. My love to you, and may Sweetie welcome Cece at the other end of the Rainbow Bridge... at least, until we can get there, ourselves.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
