There is a local drone search company

Someone has a 40lb turtle as a pet. The turtle wandered off and the owner couldn't find him. He hired the drone company and they found the turtle safe, and in less than 10 minutes I was really happy to read the outcome

Along with sheltering the wild creatures, they also feed feral cats. A couple years ago, my daughter put dry food in a dish for the feral cats. As soon as a lurking box turtle heard the rattle of the food hitting the dish, it booked out of hiding and ran up their drive to the dish. My daughter got it on video, and man, that fella could make time! It was surprising and delightful

I can’t remember what kind it is. Her’s is a baby. A friend of hers had a clutch of eggs and she got one.

She left it with her elderly Mom and it kept getting out of the yard. Most of the neighbors knew it, and made sure it got back home. They've moved and the turtle is back with the cousin.

I don't see how anybody could watch this video clip and not be just as invested as the owners were in getting back their tortoise. Maybe they need to attach an air tag on it.

I was leaning in and looking at the video looking intently for the tortoise. LOL!

When they zoomed out to show the terrain, I couln't believe they found anything in that wide expanse!
