Guess who the reclusive Carys wanted to snuggle with - at midnight. ME!!
I think it's been at least a year since the last time she's head butted me in to wakefulness so that she could get some scritches and lots of affection.
She started out by jumping on my rib cage, which is what Sian used to do. That certainly startled me in to wakefulness. Next came a whole lot of head butts against and kind of bulldozing beneath me. Once she had me well and truly awake, she sat patiently waiting for the scritches and pets.
Then the boys decided to move in and snuggle, too. Eventually she had her fill and she slowly meandered off.
I think I need to buy more of that calming spray. Maybe I'll wear it as a perfume.
