(25,128 posts)It sounds like he had a good life, and much love.
we got him at a time when our youngest was in a bad place, and he did her a world of good.

(72,526 posts)which is my only beef about his treatment. w artificial hips, thats the last thing he needed.
but if i know him, he was feeding him fancy cheese as treats.
the only other dog he ever clicked w, pit pf the doz we had together, was our middle kids little benji mutt. adorable but spoiled rotten. i was the only 1 who wasnt amused. she bounced home for a while btn bfs and boy did he spoil him. $15/lb artisan cheese and sausages that he shared w that mutt. he had a pic of the dog on the phone and used go ask ppl- do u want to see a pic of my grandson?
that pup is getting way up there, too. kiddo will devastated.
i doubt hell get another dog, which is a shame. wife has a cat, which, surprisingly the dog loved.
even if all dogs dont go to heaven, this 1 no doubt did.
