The boys are taking care of their mom

This is going to be a really bad year for me when it comes to anxiety. Really bad. Today was one of those days. Not just the political stuff but it's the anniversary of my cousin's suicide. We were pretty close. I've lost a brother the same way. It's the kind of grief that never eases.

So the boys have taken it upon themselves to keep my lap warm and my mind distracted. Even Sian took a shift. Carys is here, too. She's not on my lap but she's close by.

But the King of Comforting Purrs and Slow Blinks is Arthur. He just has the best sweetness skills. He is such a gentle boy.

Now I’m feeling like a punk just because I have anxiety over my colonoscopy next week. Your reason for anxiety is much worse, must be really hard to take for you on a day like this.
