Is anyone familiar with this new "designer" breed of a dog, a German Shepherd and Akita cross?
I've seen one of them recently and OMG what a huge dog it is (almost like the size of a pony!).

It is a "puppy".
It seems like a nice dog but it gets out and is running around all over the place.
He got hit by a car not long ago but managed to get away unscathed.
I don't know that I could handle a dog that size!
Handsome indeed however! 
Apparently there are some issues with this breed of dog between the German Shepherd and Akita genes.
I never knew about this! 
Anyway, no homeowner's insurance with my present company if I have one of these dogs.
