'This was the first night we’ve seen him have the energy to give kisses so this was a huge deal for all of us.'

He's being treated with doxycycline, and it seems possible functions will return. Lots of emotions happening.

My family's dogs had some minor improvement after doing this simple trick.

Of course I have no idea how much it helps since our doggies can't speak. Wouldn't that make everything even better? "Please help me since my hind leg hurts". "I am very thirsty and there is no water in my dish". "I am having a hard time breathing". Nope, I take that back. They show their feelings in ways people can't or won't share. If they could talk they might say to their mean parent/owner/abuser, "Fuck You, stop hurting me!". Instead they love everyone, unconditionally. Dogs are 1,000,000,000,000% better than any person, especially a GQP ass. I am glad tRump never had pets since he would abuse them. It is his MO.

PARTICULARLY because she studied and practices Occupational therapy, not exactly same for canines and humans but I suspect transferrable lessons.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
