She looked extra fluffy this morning after her brushing and we both agreed she should share that warm coat with all the hairless kitties who need to stay warm this winter.

(4,263 posts)She's got the right coat for the chilly days of winter. I bet she stays inside a lot, too.

(10,459 posts)she stays outside on my screened in porch most days and would stay out there at night if I didn't make her come in. She thinks she was born to be wild.

(21,758 posts)I had one like that as well.
It ended up tragically as he was a bit of a menace.
One of the neighbors enjoyed messing with him.
It got really ugly and some one poisoned him on Thanksgiving!
He survived the poisoning but I had to find another home for him after that.
It damn near killed me having to take him away and leave him at this place that said they'd find another home for him. Did they? I'll never know.

(21,758 posts)All I have to do is say the word "comb" and they come running and line-up for a good combing.
Not a flea to be found in this house!

(8,865 posts)I was going to say Hello Dolly, but someone beat me to it.
My kitties know the word "brush." I say "You wanna brush?" and they come running. And then they try to eat the brush, or comb.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
