A good method for posting photos on DU.

On a computer save the photo you want to post to the desktop.

Go to postimages.org then click on and drag the photo from
the desktop to postimages’ Choose images box.

The next screen will say Upload completed! and you’ll see
your photo. To the right will be a list of links. At Direct link
click on the blue and white icon at the right to copy your
photo.

In the Pets forum on DU, click on Start discussion and on the
next page type in a title for your photo. In the Discussion text
box right-click paste then at the bottom of the page click Post.

Does this work for a Samsung tablet? Enter stage left Jul 7 #2
Don't see why not, Enter stage left. Just a different way to "drag and drop" a photo. George McGovern Jul 7 #4

The images uploaded and linked from that site will remain in place.

I have tried a few other image websites, and I think postimages.com was one of them, and the problem I found was that the photos usually disappeared from DU within a few hours and then the messages in that thread would be from late-comers who would be pointing out that they cannot see anything in the OP.

I use an Apple desktop, which works a bit differently. With respect to your question, I googled

How to use drag and drop on samsung tablet

to find out how to move a photo on your tablet to the Choose images box in postimages. There were many results to choose from.

When you get the last step in postimages you'll want to copy, then paste the url address showing to the Discussion text box.

I googled how to right click on a samsung tablet and again found answers.

Thanks, hope you can work something out!
