Found this quarter inch bug on a spearmint plant.

2. Yes, but it seems to try to ID the plant. I guess I could crop more to see

if it recognizes the bug.

It has a body reminiscent of a leaf footed bug.

They use parts of bugs they have killed as camouflage.

Wish I had my "bug book" handy. I miss my "bug book". Lots of interesting things in there.

I need to add that he might have glued a little brown butterfly part on his back.

I think it could be a moth in development

15. I want to get a better image sometime. It's really tiny and hard to find.

I've gone my first 69 years without seeing one.
