Is Boarshead meats & deli still under watch by the (weakened) FDA & USDA?

I was going to get some more smoked Gouda & saw they has issues with slime & sanitation

Looks like the Gouda recall was for mislabeling on 8 oz. refrigerated packages not fresh sliced at the deli. 2MuchNoise Jul 15 #4

To identify the recalled Boar’s Head cheese, look for the UPC 0 42421-50006 6, code 03 SEP 25 F, with "Distributed by Brunckhorst Co., NY, NY 11206" on the Smoked Gouda’s packaging.

can't remember what they substituted instead, but it's being hyped as much as Boarshead was hyped in the past.
