No flavor and not 1 pea pod (my favs!) in the entire entree.

Every time I order from that place, the price goes up and portion size decreases. Now no pea pods.

Now, barely edible...

It's been quite a while since I've ordered from them and doubt I ever will again.

And VERY VERY rude people working there.

The only other place with edible food is a steakhouse, which we enjoy occasionally, but pricey. $40 for 2 burgers & fries.

Only other choices besides mcd's (gross), wendy's where everything is drowning in mayo, which I expressly request t be omitted, or captain d's, where they serve globs of thick breading & call it "fish."

Pathetic.

I can only recommend either a real commute to a worthwhile set of restaurants (with overnight stay)...

or

That you fix a four-star meal for the two of you...Find a good local butcher
and pay for the good stuff...filet mignons or ???? your choice. Celebrate being
able to do this for yourselves!

Just sometimes I like a break.

Not likely in the land of deep fried everything.

This morning I cooked pearl barley and also green beans. This evening I worked late, but my son made the bowls with salmon, avocado, green beans, a couple of my backyard tomatoes, cucumbers and radishes. He made a dressing with mayonnaise, sour cream, sriracha and lime juice. Good way to use up a bit of this and that.

Had some leftover steak, and I don't like to waste meat animals died for. Found some elderly peppers (bell, Anahiem, poblano) and I always have onions and cheese on hand, so pepper steak sandwiches for dinner.

Steam-fried in evoo and veggie broth: chopped onion, yellow bell pepper, sliced carrots, cut asparagus, sliced mushrooms and minced garlic. When done I mixed in 3/4 of a block of mashed firm tofu and Jax Tofu Scramble seasoning, fresh chopped parsley and Penzy’s Sunny Paris herbs. Cheers! 🥂
