Big bowl of greens on the side.
Red bell pepper
Celery
Onion
Cucumber
Cherry Tomatoes
Mozzarella balls
Corn from a roasting ear
Anchovy mustard vinaigrette
Bruschetta sandwich. Other than the salad, I did not have to cook because a friend stopped by on his way home from a wedding. He had all kinds of goodies from the reception. Among them were sandwiches on artisan bread, and I sampled them. Out of all the different kinds, I went crazy over bruschetta with mozzarella. Whoever made this got the touch of acidic just right. I have a nice big box of various sandwiches in my refrigerator if I want another.
Plain kombucha.
Made up my own dessert. Graham cracker crust and on top I put Greek yogurt with lemon mixed in. I even grated lemon rind into it to make it really lemony. Also mixed in was bits of grated ginger and diced dried apricot. On top of that, blackberries and sliced almonds. Put it in a glass pie dish and froze it.

(52,352 posts)Too hot to cook, save for the tri-color rotini. Substituted leftover smoked ham for the bacon.
So good that you could sell it in the Hamptons for too much money.

(11,663 posts)Saw a package of something called pretzel burger buns. Never had them before but ripped into the coin purse and bought them. Got some burger from a butcher and thoroughly enjoyed the results. Lettuce, tomato, avocado, thinly sliced red onions, pepper relish, dab of mayo.Sure was good.
Lemon water
No dessert yet but Im eyeing a beautiful box of fresh strawberries in the refrigerator. BIG, BEAUTIFUL strawberries.

(36,006 posts)sometimes called Santa Clause Melon? I have them planted in the garden, hope they taste good.

(40,729 posts)I tried but like all melons Ive attempted, the pests get them before me.
Even in my pool garden, which by law has to have a fence, I had a raccoon break in.
At the school gardens, which are enclosed by chain-link fence, I tell my gardeners that its an iffy proposition to grow a melon. That is because people actually will scale the fence and steal the melon if they see it from the street.
Its only a certain type of person who can scale that fence. I know who it is because Ive seen them do it.
I buy them frequently when they show up at the farmers market because I think they are the most delicious melon of all.
