I was craving an underwood brand deviled ham sandwich(childhood flash back)

I cut up the celery & cherry tomatoes, put out the wheat bread on the plate and popped open that little can.

Instantly I had 2 cats meowing to me demanding a taste & walking garound my ankles, I had not remembered the very pungent smell.

The girls got a taste & I made a cheese & veggie sandwich.

If I ever want deviled ham sandwich again, I am going to have to make the recipe myself. I loved that stuff in celery stickes when I was a kid

I was just thinking I hadn't had devilled ham's cousin, ham salad for ages. I might have to get some!

I've made it twice in the last two weeks. Once I had it in green peppers; was that ever good. The second time on a pita bread with lettuce and tomato. Both were good but I think I favor the stuffed green peppers just a bit.
