Supply chain these days.

Tonight I made dinner with Ravioli, a green pesto, salmon, and asparagus.
I'm in Munich.
The salmon was from Norway.
The raviloi and pesto from Italy.
and the asparagus was from ....
Mexico!

saw tons of new fields in Sonora about 10 years ago and the last few years it has been available here in Arizona anyway, year round at a pretty reasonable price. guess that will be changing soon.

This was at a reasonable price. If memory serves it was cheaper than the European sourced asparagus we got last year, on average. We used to get a good amount from England during the season.
