What's for Dinner, Fri., Feb. 14, 2025

I'm going to a show tonight at 7:30 and we might go to a restaurant beforehand. The one we're thinking about is:

Kabob on the Cliff

Places are going to be mobbed because of Valentine's Day, so I'm a bit skeptical about this working out. Both a restaurant and a show are a bit too much for me, but we'll see how things stack up.

but they're also huge - when we get them we cut the burritos in half, have one half for lunch, and another for either dinner or lunch the next day.

I just eat what I want, bring home & invite gs to inhale my leftovers with his own. Disappears like magic. Lol. He loves Mexican food.

I have no idea "What's for Dinner" today. I don't have much of an appetite today. But I hope everyone has a lovely meal and a wonderful night.

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! 💐💋💞

Just in case, a Bánh mì is a French-Vietnamese sandwich.
There is a wonderful place a me away from me & the sandwich is only $8. I love that place

Restaurant. Place was packed, I hope we didn't catch another illness.

We each had ribeye, green beans, bake potato, toss salad and dinner rolls.

Happy Valentine's Day

Layered on our plates in this order: marinara sauce, cooked lasagna noodles, vegan “ricotta”( silken tofu with fried onions and spices), black beans and corn, sautéed green bell peppers an sliced zucchini, more marinara sauce, noodles, more ricotta, more peppers and zucchini, more noodles, finally more sauce on top. Sprinkle the top with vegan mozzarella and microwave the entire plate until the cheese melts. Served with pan toasted garlic bread. Cheers! 🥂

Lobster tail & filet.
Made shallow fry steak fries & a broccoli/cauliflower mix seasoned with soy, white pepper, and allspice.
I made caramelized onions & cremini mushrooms in a red wine sauce, too.
Of course, there was drawn butter for the surf.

I'm home alone, with Panera chix tortilla soup, which is not bad; my first try.

Sad to learn daughter and her family (as well as her 'students' in nursery school, and 2 grands and their classes and much of the school) are very sick with flu.

that no one in Philadelphia would approve of: we use onions, Anaheim peppers, and a smoke gouda-ish cheese that melts well. Hey, it's my kitchen and my leftovers!
