What's for Dinner, Fri., Nov. 8, 2024

Roast turkey (dark meat) with turkey gravy, over whole wheat toast.

Mashed cauliflower, whirled in the blender with half n half, milk, and some butter. Chives sprinkled over the top.

Brussels sprouts, thinly sliced on the mandoline and sauteed in sesame oil.

In other words, the Blue Plate Special!

In addition, I'm making a salad but might not serve it tonight. Too much food, but it will be great to have around for the weekend.

Chilled chamomile tea.

Dessert: apple doughnut, warmed in the air fryer. A few blackberries. Earl Grey tea.
