Breakfast Sunday 27 October 2024

My usual Sunday treat to my self. 2 strips of bacon, one egg over easy, sourdough toast and coffee.

A toasted English muffin with Dijon mustard and a sausage pattie with melted Swiss cheese.

V-8 over ice and water.

I'm finally over my horrible throat and mouth pain episode and back to eating solid food again.

I do love having a Lassi but trying to live on them was getting old.

Last night. Going to lighten up some honey vanilla Greek yogurt and mascarpone with milk until thinned a bit, pour it over the raspberries and add chopped mint and whole toasted almonds.

Toasted waffle.

Been having the same breakfast 6 days a week for more than 8 years and I never tire of it, so this will probably be the one and only time I post in this breakfast forum. 1.5 cups of unsweetened almond milk, 1T of ground flax seeds, 6 ozs of berries (different combinations daily, mostly fresh, today a mix of blueberries and blackberries), 1 scoop of chocolate plant based protein powder, large handful of chopped kale, 1t Ceylon cinnamon and a sprinkle of cloves). Blend in my Ninja blender with a few ice cubes. Refreshing and delicious.
