I am making the filling in the morning because we might lose power later in the day in Ohio due to wind. I am not sure sloppy Joe's are good eaten cold, for dinner with the power off, but at least they won't be raw. I use store bought sauce, two cans, with lots of extra peppers and onion. I got the burger on clearance sale for $2/ pound; I think it had been over $7 /pound and wouldn't sell.
