I have my home grown orange kabocha squash in the slow cooker along with some bratwursts. Orange kabocha is a little different. I had to special order the seed.
Salad, of course. Tossed green. Thousand Island.
Cherry kombucha.
Dessert: the last mochi.

Supermarket potato salad

Have white corn tortillas, cilantro and white onion. Street tacos carne asada style
Fresh fruit salsa with sweet potato tortilla chips.

Ice cream drumstick before bedtime.

(20,638 posts)Many different names, such as beefaroni, slumgullion, goulash, but my Mom called it macaroni creole. I make it like she did. It is one of the hot meals that taste good on a hot day. I might add a can of chile beans tomorrow, and call it chile mac
