Eggs scrambled with cheese

Oven roasted bacon

Sourdough toast with butter and jams

2. Black coffee ☕ with a toasted bagel with Philadelphia cream cheese.

Avocado lettuce salad.

Cold mint tea.

7. Cher, you would have laughed at me this morning

when I was chasing a deer out of the garden. Coffee cup in one hand, wearing Crocs and screaming. Huge deer eating my sweet corn. They ate every bit of the popcorn we had planted in another garden plot and now they're going after my prized ambrosia sweet corn.

I told Loretta about it when she woke up and she reminded me of that stinky stuff Cher had me order. So now here I am back up at the house and probably smelling like Trump.

I just saw one down in my bamboo forest. This one's antlers looked like he could have worked for Santa Claus.

I am so, so sorry you lost your popcorn crop. You could try another crop. It matures in 85-100 days. It's a little chancy but wth? I'd give it a shot.

Repels-It should do the trick for you because deer sense of smell is extremely good. They can smell things humans can't even imagine. They have 2000% more receptors than we humans have.

9. I thought about replanting it. Staring at the

heat of August and always very dry time of the year, it's more bother than it's worth. That popcorn may have saved my Ambrosia sweet corn from being eaten.

5. Another day, another culture cream (yogurt?). This one

is vanilla bean 🫘 by Haagen Daz sprinkled with chopped hazelnuts, poppyseed muffin baked by my sister, coffee ☕️ with Starbucks vanilla latte creamer.
