What's for Dinner, Sun., June 16. 2024

After all the work I did today, I'm not cooking. I do have some cold chicken, however, and I'm thinking to do something with mushrooms, stir fried sugar peas , soba noodles and the chicken.

Pineapple kombucha.

I got my seed cabinets cleaned out and organized, bamboo forest cleaned up, and a big stretch of the upstairs pool area cleaned of vines. Fortunately, I had help so it was kinda' fun. I made a major discovery of compost so of course, as a gardener, I am thrilled. About a whole raised bed full of nothing but compost. Yay!!!

We’re in Gloucester, MA and we scored a pair of chicken lobsters from a fishing boat. We’ll steam them and serve with butter. Broccoli and rice on the side. Chardonnay.

New Brunswick, for a couple years. They treated lobster, like we treat ground beef.
I was just watching boats come in one day, and the Capt said, " we had a good day, take one"
Yes, this was 30 years ago, it was a different world.
I still, remember, that flavor.

the first corn of the season, cucumber salad, and potato salad. Leftover chicken for dinner tomorrow, probably.
