I'm a bit short on supplies due to a rough week. So, I'm out of regular milk but have to have my morning latte. Since covid I've kept a supply of Parmalat 2% shelf-stable UHT milk in my pantry as a backup. Today I made a "Parmalatte". The Parmalat foams up reasonably well, but not as much as regular 2% milk. There is a different taste to UHT milk, but it isn't bad. All in all, you can't beat a six-month shelf life for a staple like that.

I’m taking a break from the garden and having a second cup of coffee. After coffee, I’m heading out to plant jalapeño peppers and basil. Then probably eggs with kimchi unless I go straight for lunch.

A little fresh corn (cooked) on the side.
