What's for Dinner, Sun., May 19, 2024

Miniature meatloaves. My recipe has a good deal of grated carrot, zucchini, and onion in it. I'll have a few and freeze the rest to have in the upcoming two weeks of planting activity.

Tossed green salad with cherry tomatoes, Persian cucumber, celery, and scallions.

Dessert: mint tea, made with mint from the garden. Ice cream cone, cookies and cream flavor.

So, I’m making bacon wrapped fillets, roasted brussel sprouts, and strawberry shortcake with real whipped cream. Yes, I made the shortcake and whipped the cream myself. I hope we have leftovers!

Happy Anniversary!

(Just reminded me, assembled strawberry short-cake day/dinner before daughter was born; as bringing the lovely dessert to serve, dropped one on floor; I/we didn't care, ate them anyway, and next day, daughter was born!)

I am having half a Caesar salad wrap from work and some Pazole soup I made Thursday and freezing the rest.
