Cornflake breaded flounder with capers and tartar sauce.
I make shrimp coleslaw that imitates one I used to love at a restaurant I went to decades ago. The trick is grated onion and lots of shrimp. Other than that, it is just the standard coleslaw with grated carrots and a bit of pepper for color.
I have a big, beautiful Vidalia to grate.
Dessert: I hope Aldi has chocolate fudgsicles in. Prol'ly not. They are so iffy when it comes to consistently carrying products. However, they are pretty good with pasture-raised chickens, and I need some eggs.

(11,939 posts)We're having that good old American standby, goulash. Hamburger, macaroni, tomatoes, pasta, etc. Yummy!
Strawberry ice cream for dessert if there's room. There's still some lemon blueberry loaf cake too.

Mom and I tried a new place for lunch and it was so good I got three more to take home for dinner: Beef and Onion, Brisket, and a Smoked Chicken.
Their chimichurri is perfect, exactly how I like it. Well definitely be eating there again, and often.
Dessert: Going to bake brownies later on tonight
