Sheet pan dinner: Honey & Turmeric Chicken Thighs with Olives. Has a couple lemons, honey, dry white wine, lotsa' garlic (a whole head!) capers, raisins, olives. Bay leaves and parsley.
I'm using half a chicken, though, instead of the thighs.
It's raining here and a bit on the cool side, so this will be a nice aroma to have floating through the house.
Pineapple kombucha.

(89 posts)Was just weeding my garlic beds and thinking of dinner. I'm almost out of last year's haul. I pretty much put garlic and red onions in everything I cook except pancakes.

(40,098 posts)A lot of what is in the stores is from China and has chemicals to prevent it from growing. Its easy to spot due to the very short roots.

It's a bit of a Cinco de Mayo meal, although why we celebrate Mexico's history over the French is beyond me. I really don't need an excuse to eat Mexican food!

(1,802 posts)with lots of vegetables. Buttermilk potato rolls that I made for today's church potluck. I had also made chicken and noodles, and Salade Nicoise. I'm thinking tomorrow's workday supper will be leftovers.

(11,101 posts)We got home late after some volunteer work went on a lot longer than expected and didn't feel like making dinner. It's a great place, but their delivery portions are huge - which means leftovers for lunch most of the coming week.
