What's for Dinner, Sun., March 3, 2024

Chinese dumplings with hoisin sauce and roasted cabbage in sesame oil, sesame seeds over the top.

Pineapple-mandarin kombucha.

lt's sunny and 64 here, so I'll be in the gardens and not back until late!

roasted veggies , carrots, sweet potatoes , onions, red peppers and Brussel sprouts tossed in olive oil. I try to stay away from meat protein but occasionally the hubby wants meat .

green Bell peppers stuffed with a mix of Italian sausage, rice, and onions.

If I feel ambitious I might make a cake. Many decades ago, I had an orange cake in a restaurant in Berkeley whose name I forgot, but I remember the cake. It had a small amount of chile in it that gave it a kick. Since the orange tree is going crazy, I'm thinking of experimenting with my basic lemon pound cake recipe to see if I can get something close.
