What's for Dinner, Fri., Dec. 29, 2023

Posting early due to working late.

Spanakopita. I didn't make it. We have a bakery that makes it on rare occasions, so I take advantage of it when they do.

Tossed green salad with French dressing. Red onion, thinly sliced ham, red, green, and gold peppers. Cherry tomatoes. A few garbanzos and a pepperoncini.

No sugar Pepsi to drink.

It's a nice day here, 54, so I might have vanilla ice cream for dessert. No sugar of course.

Is that Thai-French or French-Thai fusion. No matter, it is good. I might have some lemonade, too. Hope I survive.

I could make pea soup with ham and barley, but not sure what my plans are. If I stay home, no worries

Green salad with red onion, tomatoes, cucumber, raisins and almond slivers topped with a light honey mustard dressing.

From dried great northern beans and left over Christmas ham, I made soup. While waiting for the beans, I made cornbread. I braised some Napa Cabbage.
