Our family Xmas dinner is today

We have a vegetarian and a gluten-sensitive who doesn’t eat seafood. So…

A Cioppino with shrimp, mussels, clams, scallops, squid, and fish. With French bread for dipping
Plus a Roast with thyme and rosemary, a boatload of butter and garlic.

And all sorts of roasted veg - asparagus, carrots, parsnips, and potatoes.

Plus chopped liver, and fresh veg to hold back the hoard until the main courses are done.

And, our daughters are bringing dessert - this all makes me so happy!

For the GF fiancé of my youngest, two desserts.

A chocolate torte and a chocolate salami- both were incredibly rich and tasted like the best truffles I’ve ever had!
