I just took a chocolate pound cake out of the oven.

My house smells wonderful! It's for Thanksgiving dinner and the family might not let me in the door if I don't bring it!

Also making yeast rolls.

grab that cake and come see me. I'll make some ganache to dunk it in and a good time will be had by both of us.

it was my grandmother-in-law's signature dessert. The first time I took it to a family event, one of the great grandsons said "Is that what I think it is?" So they always want it. Other folks can bring pie; I have to bring the cake

take to an event. Poor Mr YD wants to eat many more than I will allow and always hopes I bring some home.
