What's for Dinner, Sat., Sept. 2, 2023

Shrimp in sweet chili garlic sauce.

Butter cube yellow zucchini with goat cheese and caramelized onion.

Tossed green salad with vinaigrette.

Pineapple peach kombucha.

Baby greens, peppers, onions, tomatoes, topped with a baby crab cake and grilled shrimp. Ringed with roasted potatoes

(from nearby restaurant. Had their blt for brunch.)

Ms K is making the salad. I usually just dump some dressing onto torn lettuce, lol.

but I've been scooping avocado, and adding salt and a bit of lemon recently. Learned grand daughter likes avocado, so working on some skills.

Leftover black-eyed peas with coconut milk and Ethiopian spices. Which by the way is delicious.

to use up some cabbage. Steamed broccoli dressed with butter and some homemade tarragon vinegar. In the depths of the freezer I found some green garlic & mushroom sourdough bread (from last year's farmers market - !). My son is concocting a dessert with ricotta, honey and peaches.
