and then I started using Ancestry and got away from a separate software. I may regret that someday, but our kids aren't particularly interested, so it'll probably end with me anyway.

You can get a free trial of Ancestry for 14 days. Cancel 2 days before the trial is up. Geneanet is helpful especially for European ancestors.
