Has anyone tried the new...

Splenda product? If so was it good? I use regular splenda because I can't stand the taste of Stevia, Truvia, etc. I'm hoping this new splenda product has a good taste because I'd like to use a healthier sugar substitute.

Here is a link to the new Nectreesse:

I like. It's a from me.

It doesn't have that overwhelming licorice taste of the others and only the slightest bit of after taste. I have very finicky taste buds and I must admit I'm sold on this. It is no more pricey than any of the others or at least not where I bought it.

I'll pick some up when I go to the store to get last minute holiday stuff.

If I like it, I'll make a sugar-free cranberry orange pecan relish thing.

It's described as, "...a combination of deliciously sweet Monk Fruit Extract blended with other natural sweeteners (erythritol, sugar and molasses) to bring you the rich sweet taste of sugar without all the calories." Erythritol is a sugar alcohol that they claim doesn't have gastrointestinal side effects like other sugar alcohols like Xylitol. Still, I'm pretty sensitive to sugar alcohols, so I'm going to be careful trying this one out.
