Anyone using Fitbit?

http://www.fitbit.com

I'm really digging this thing. It wasn't cheap ($99 for the gadget plus $49 for the yearly membership), but it is very very interesting with the stuff that it tracts.

It all started when the personal trainer I work with suggested I get a pedometer. I never really liked those things mainly because I don't like things clipped to my waistline. So I was going to get a watch with a pedometer in it but instead I found this thing instead.

You can either wear it attached to your waistline or you can wear it as a wristband (that I like). ANd it tracks more than just how much you walk which is what is really neat. I actually wear this thing to sleep at night and it tracks how much sleep I get. It's not a high-tech sleep device- just tracks when you stop moving around so much and stay in one position. I didn't expect much but it showed that I was 11 minutes sure of getting the 7-9 hours of sleep that I needed. Showed when I got up for a restroom stop and even when my cat woke me up a few minutes. What's nice is it has a decent food tracking system too and in May they have a wireless scale they are introducing that will help track BMI & fat. Not sure if I'll get it (it's $129) but if I'm still using the system I just might.

Anyhow was wondering if anyone else was using a fitbit?

I got the Flex, with no display but it syncs with your phone or computer.

I don't have the scale or the rest but I like having a goal and a way to track it.

Seems a bit pricey for our budget at the moment but it might motivate me not to hibernate this winter. I get a good bit of my exercise in the pool, so that might throw off my stats.
