One, it seems no one wants to rent to us. Probably because we are not wealthy. As usual, we are just over the threshold for getting any help, so it is not good at all. We had discussed trying to be out of here by June. Now, I am wondering if we will be able to be out by our deadline of Sept..

Two, I am getting more and more afraid that my husband is not doing so well mentally. He has not done much of anything as far as trying to find a place, or packed, or anything. I cannot do this by myself. It looks like I am going to have to have a chat with him. I don't like doing this, as he can be difficult to talk to when it is something that he disagrees with or does not accept as reality.

I am starting to stress more and more. I really am thinking that 'The Big One' is not far away.

OH IRONY!

All those years I wanted to die and now I have too much to do before I can fee safe enough to start working on things again.

I just hope it will be quick. One second, carrying a box outside to the garage. The next...

I do my share of doom scrolling to try and keep up but there has to be a limit and I am trying to self enforce that for keeping a balanced view of the chaos. I truly feel for those more directly affected by aid cuts, job losses and so on. My only advise is to keep trying and keep on going. Giving up means the a**holes win and that I could not stand.
