Anyone have normal pressure hydrocephalus? ** Good news! **

Last edited Thu Sep 28, 2023, 03:56 PM - Edit history (1)

It’s a real pain. My sister has it too.

I have to hold on to a handrail when negotiating stairs.

** I have a consult with neurology coming soon. **

Not looking forward to brain surgery, but I endured cancer treatment, I can handle this

ASSUMING it's draining properly, and avoiding 'scheduled' doc/surgeon appointment for this coming week (didn't know it was scheduled!) as going out of town for grand daughter's 7th birthday celebration.

Daughter told me may take 6 months.

I get dizzy with a touch of nausea. I can’t sleep on my side without risking dizzy spells

Have reliable docs? My neurologist @ Johns Hopkins specializes in hydrocephalus.

They told me I had some brain damage from radiation and chemo
